Film industry across globe has a tendency to jump on the winning formula. So while sex and horror was the flavor of the season till last year, 2005 has seen comedies ruling the roost the entire year with numerous other subjects of varied kinds also making a good impression.

While 'Bhagmati', a part live-part animation movie, was one of the biggest disaster of the current decade, what has taken the industry by surprise is the steady progress of 'Hanuman' that is setting the cash register ringing inspite of competition from much hyped Diwali release.

As things stand today, if there are two movies that are still earning good money apart from Garam Masala, they are No Entry and Hanuman.

Knowing Bollywood's penchant of going with the trend, don't be surprised if there are announcements around many more 'desi' animation movie launch.
