Just like sleaze and comedy, even kidnapping seems to have become the hot favorite topic for film makers to explore.

We had 'Apaharan' and 'Ek Ajnabee' coming quite close to each other in the fag end of last year and both the movies revolved around the kidnapping industry. While the rustic flavor of Bihar was much more identifiable by Indian audience hence giving 'Apaharan' a hit status, same couldn't be said about 'Ek Ajnabee' that revolved around the rich and famous Indians in Bangkok.

Now watch out for third movie with the same base that comes in a pretty quick time. Titled 'Deadline', it is a relatively small budgeted movie and stars actors like Konkana Sen, Irrfan Khan, Rajit Kapur, Sandhya Mridul and Zakir Hussain [Sarkar, James]. With a talented starcast for sure, one thing is for sure that this Tanveer Khan written-directed movie would boast of great performances.
