Soha Ali Khan is emerging as an actress with great potential.

The few directors she has worked with have a good word for her, but no one can better define Soha's acting prowess than "Rang De Basanti" director Rakeysh Mehra.

He says: "Her name came up among the many actresses who were being considered for the role and I said, why not. When she came in front of the camera it took me merely 30 seconds to take the decision that she was my Sonia in the film."

Soha plays a diehard optimist who is engaged to pilot Ajay Rathod played by R. Madhavan and feels passionately about issues relating to youth.

Mehra feels Soha is a natural and effortless performer.

"I couldn't have been luckier. I would describe her as the enchanting actress. I am looking forward to doing more films with her in the future," he says.
