When popular VJ Shenaz Treasurywaala made her foray into Bollywood with 'Ishq Vishq' opposite Shahid Kapoor, all her fans were thrilled. Everyone's belief was that there would be no looking back for her as she was appreciated for her performance and seemed comfortable with the Bollywood setting.

Her second release came after a gap but she only had a cameo in it. The movie was 'Hum Tum', where she played one of Saif Ali Khan's girlfriends. After this there had been a lull as far as her Bollywood appearances were concerned but now there is a reason for her fans to rejoice as she would be seen as a solo lead heroine in Karan Razdan's 'Umar' where she stars opposite Jimmy Shergill.

On asked that what made her choose 'Umar' after rejecting number of films that came her way, she said that Umar carries with it a strong message and the script too was impressive. Also it gave her a chance to work with senior actors like Satish Kaushik, Prem Chopra, and Kadar Khan. In addition, the comedy in the movie excited her too as this was something that she always wanted to do.

Umar is slated for release on 3rd March.
