Zee Cine awards was held yesterday at Mauritius. The place is one of the most colorful in the world but it along with the award ceremony belonged to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black. It seems this year of film awards in going to be swept by Black.

Black was the winner all the way at Screen, Filmfare and now at Zee Cine Awards. Black won most awards in the popular categories. It won the Best Actor, best film, best actress and best actor awards in the popular category besides the many others that it won.

The critic's choice awards for the best actor, actress and the film went to Iqbal. Shreyas Talpade, Shweta Prasad and Nagesh Kukunoor went back home rejoicing their effort. Abhishek won the award for the best supporting actor in Sarkar.

Nana Patekar won the award for his villainous role in Apaharan, Ritesh won for his comic timing in Bluffmaster, Himesh Reshamiya for best playback male, Vaibhavi Merchant for best choreography in Kajra re, Rekah Nigam and Vidhu Vinod Chopra for their classic dialogues in Parineeta and so on.

Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Blan and Konkana Sen Sharma were awarded the most promising newcomers award. The event was sponsored by LIC and organized at Swami Vivekananda International Convention Center in Mauritius.

The hosts for the evening were Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal, Konkona Sen Sharma and many others. The evening saw the true glitterati and glam and glitz the true bollywood style. The evening ended with great epoch and pomp.
