Delhite Neha Kapur has won the much coveted Miss India Universe crown. 22 years of age, she is followed by Amrita Patki (20) and Natasha Suri (21), who have been crowned Miss India Earth 2006 and Miss India World 2006 respectively. Incidentally both the girls belong to Mumbai.

Neha has strong inclination towards classical music and dance and four years of training in Bharatnatyam and eight years in Kathak.

The judges mainly belonged to the glamour industry as they ranged from Tarun Tahiliani, Neha Dhupia, reader Vaishali Rajapurkar, Karisma Kapoor, Suneet Verma, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Zayed Khan, Rakshanda Khan to even Karan Johar who is now a MUST for any and every award function related to entertainment industry.
