Director Shivram Yadav has planned to use the Madhur Bhandarkar-Preeti Jain case as his storyline in the movie "Madhubala" which has the tagline 'the story of a National award-winning director and an aspiring actress who was raped 21 times'. Producer Raju Kariya had invited both Madhur and Preeti to the mahurat of the film but didn't turn up.

The story is dealing with the life of a National award winning director who is accused of raping an aspiring actress Madhubala, 21 times. She files a court case against him and this makes him fall into trouble.
