"American Blend" directed by Varun Khanna will be shown at the eighth annual Moving Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) international film festival starting on March 23 in Mumbai and will be screened at Y B Chavan center on March 25.

The film is about a family settled in Los Angeles, the head of the house is Raj, who is a chef, has an American wife and three children.

It is a serious film and not a typical ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) movie. It stars Anupam Kher and his co-star is Dee Wallace Stone who had acted in ET in 1982. The other actors in the flick are David Oyelowo, Kristin Erickson, Ruben Garfias and Ranjit Chowdhary.
