Singing for the past 25 years, Alka Yagnik is still the owner of a sweet melodious voice and balancing well between family and profession.

Right from childhood Alka's source of inspiration was the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. Alka Yagnik is always known for her versatile singing style.

From peppy songs like Choli Ke Peeche to Gazab Ka Hai Din. Some of her current works are Milenge Milenge (Himesh Reshamiya), Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy) and Umrao Jaan by Anu Malik.

For Umrao Jaan Anu Malik has composed ghazals for which he wanted a different voice like Alka's. Alka Yagnik doesn't believe in remixes as she feels it ruins the essence and depth of the song.
