Preeti Jain is not really happy about the publicity of the film Dastan-E-Tarannum which includes her having connections with the bar dancer Tarannum.

She refused the film because it was C-grade. Preeti also rejected the role of Madhubala in the film of the same name.

She is doing a film, Deepa Ki Tarannum which is also based on the life of bar dancer Tarannum Khan. The film is produced by Ranjeet Sharma and the writer-director is Saatyam Satyarthee.
