After a high voltage drama for an entire Thursday when statements and counter-statements were made by different sources about the fate of 'Fanaa' at multiplexes, it all concluded with good news - THE FILM IS FINALLY BEING SCREENED AT MULTIPLEXES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

As the day began, there was widespread speculation about the status of the film. All sort of theories/facts were being circulated that ranged from the single screen/multiplex screenings, number of shows at theatres, number of prints that would finally circulate across the country, how exhibitioners had completely refused to bow down to the demands from YRF and finally how some talks failed and then began again to reach a logical conclusion at the end of the day!

Though all this may make a good topic for gossip, what an average cinegoer wanted to know throughout Thursday was how to plan for his/her weekend! When the good news finally came, it was time for multiplexes to get their schedules in place after getting to know the exact number of prints arriving at their location. Once this was done, the counters were made open to the public for advance booking. At some places this was done at late as 10 PM in the night, but that too didn't Bollywood fans to wait but finally get their tickets booked for the first weekend.

So far the reports about the film's advance booking has been highly encouraging, what with number of corporate houses already getting hundreds of tickets into their pockets by means of block bookings. Remaining seats too are turning out to be in sparse numbers even as the advance booking counters operated beyond midnight at some centers!

No wonder the film is expected to take a highly encouraging start at the end of first week hence keeping YRF and the multiplexes happy!
