Bhatts are good with controversial movie themes. They are even better with their music. The music of all the films coming out of Vishesh Films stable is worth-listening. Be it Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin, Ghulam, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Raaz, Murder, Zeher, Kalyug and the more recent Gangster. Now, the self-christened-merketing-whizz Mukesh Bhatt is claiming that the music of their forthcoming ‘Woh Lamhe’ is even better than their earlier hits.
In fact, Vishesh Films is specially utilizing lead actor Shiney Ahuja’s dates to shoot a special song in Dubai. With Kangana Ranaut also in the cast and Pritam as the music director, this brings back the ‘Gangster’ team. According to Mukesh Bhatt, if ‘Ya Ali’ was a hit then this special song will be a bigger hit. Dubai was finalized as great visuals were required for creating the effect.
Woh Lamhe is roughly based on Mahesh Bhatt’s relationship with the seventies’ star Parveen Babi. In fact daughter Pooja Bhatt recently gifted a few audio tapes to her father that contained Parveen’s recorded love messages to Mahesh. These tapes were also utilized for researching the psyche of Babi’s troubled existence. ‘Woh Lamhe’ will hit the theatres in after two months. ‘The Killer’ starring Irfan Khan, Emran Hashmi and Nisha Kothari will be Bhatts’ next release.
