July 21st was being talked about as a landmark Friday as four films [Aryan - Unbreakable, Ahista Ahista, The Killer and Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota] by debutant directors were to be released on the same day. 'Ahista Ahista' has now dropped out of the race.

Its release date has now been set as August 4, which means that it would now be coming just a week prior to the biggest release of the year 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna'. This too doesn't really sound like a very good idea because normally the trend has been that whenever a biggie releases, a week prior and after it either sees a zero release or an irrelevant film hitting the marquee.

Since 'Ahista Ahista' seems like a promising product and an important outing for Abhay Deol and Soha Ali Khan with chartbuster score by Himesh Reshammiya, it won't be a wrong idea to instead place it a fortnight after KANK i.e. on August 25.
