Though there were number of films earlier slated for release coming Friday i.e. July 21, now it has boiled down to only two flicks - 'The Killer' and 'Yun Hota To Kya Hota'.

Incidentally both the flicks star Irrfan Khan in a pivotal role. In 'The Killer', he plays a title role of a killer who boards a cab [driven by Emraan Hashmi] and is on a killer spree across the town. A comic thriller, it is being described as a Tom & Jerry chase by the film's co-director Raksha Mistry [who shares credits with Hasnain Hyderabadwaala].

The other flick 'Yun Hota To Kya Hota' is a dramatic affair that has Irrfan Khan starring in one of the four stories around which the film has been created. He plays a stockbroker by profession who falls in love with an older woman only to be deceived and implanted in a murder case. How he runs away to America, meets the other protagonists and his life changes forever forms the crux of this Naseeruddin Shah directed film.
