They either want to adopt him as he looks vulnerable. Or they wish to tie a Rakhi on his hands. “Reformed drug addicts write to me too,” he admits. Sanjay has led the life of a Rockstar. Drugs, two failed marriages, jailed twice, a pending court case, fascinatingly successful film career and death of parents when he needed them the most.

Sanjay Dutt turns 47 this 29th July and he seems to have no complaints with life whatsoever.

“My friends tell me that if I write my autobiography, it will be an international best seller,” he says jocularly. But the fact is that if he does decide to pen down his thoughts, he shall surely find a huge readership as his life is enigmatic for its dark thrill and poignance. At 47 he is still in demand as ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’, a sequel to the hit ‘Munnbhai MBBS’ is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. He shall also be a part of a Karan Johar production to be directed by Soham. Besides that he is planning to revive his father’s banner Ajanta Arts alongwith friend-n-brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav by producing ‘Behad’to be directed by Milan Luthria.
