Her short appearance may have gone unnoticed in a debacle called 'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' but Manisha Koirala has something to look forward to in a few weeks from now as her next film 'Anwar' hits the marquee.

She plays the role of a journalist in the film that has been apparently tailor-made for her. Directed by Manish Jha of 'Matrabhumi' fame, the film also stars Manisha's brother Siddhart Koirala. As per Manisha, "Anwar centers on a Muslim boy and how one wrong gets multiplied. I am playing the role of a journalist. The film also depicts how media sometimes overplays incidents."

Currently 'Anwar' is the only film that Manisha has in hand with her other big film 'God Tussi Great Ho' [where she costars with Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra] getting continuously delayed.
