Actress Dia Mirza seems to be getting tired of doing bits-n-pieces roles in commercial cinema. It’s for that very reason that she has decided to try her luck with something offbeat. Currently in Bhubaneshwar to shoot for an art house film ‘Bits and Pieces’ being directed by National Award winning director Manmohan Mahapatra, Dia has simply fallen in love with the beauty of the city.

‘Bits and Pieces’ is an interesting journey of two characters – a novelist (Rahul Bose) who is caught in the world of his literature and Dia, his reflection in the mirror of what he needs to be. The actress in her feels that this film has opened up a new world for her. Mirza was seen in a full fledged heroine role in ‘Alag’ (She was also linked up with its hero Akshay Kapoor). She will be seen next in ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.
