In the film industry that has ego playing a major role in its running, there are indications of one of the quickest, wisest and sensible decisions being taken!

If publicity of Apna Sapna Money Money is any indication, it appears that the film's release has been moved all the way to November [or even later] than its earlier planned release in the month of September. Reason? Too many films flooding the market in coming weeks with a 'shraddh' period to follow and the buzz surrounding biggies like 'Don', 'Jaan-E-Mann' and 'Dhoom 2'.

Around 4 weeks back 'Apna Sapna Money Money' opened to bumper publicity with the promotional video of the title song [set to music by Pritam] bombarding the small screen. This was followed by a fun-on-the-move promo that was indeed hilarious and promised a rocking journey ahead. But suddenly around 2 weeks, there was an absolute full stop on the publicity. The promos were off in an abrupt fashion and since last few days there has been absolutely no news about the film. This truly leads one to believe that because of the reasons mentioned earlier, the film would be arriving only at a later date now.

If one looks at this closely, it indeed is a good move because audience has so much to choose from in the coming weeks that even some real good movies stand a chance to loose out at the box office. Though ASMM comes from the prestigious Mukta Arts banner, is directed by Sangeeth Sivan of 'Kya Kool Hain Hum' and promises a joyous ride with a young starcast of Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Ria Sen and Koena Mitra along with Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Pandey and Rajpal Yadav, it still makes sound sense to release the film at a better date with less competition around.

The 'sapna' goes on a hold but instead promises some good 'money' when it becomes 'poora'!
