What does one normally expect from a 21 year old boy in a cosmopolitan city like Mumbai? Having fun, playing around, roaming around the city and enjoying the campus outings!
But not for Mithoon, who instead chose to begin his career at an age when majority would have preferred to sip a drink at a coffee shop!
Meet the boy who has created a sensational new composition 'Tere Bin' that is vouching for the top slot and should eventually get there in a few days from now. Composed for the film 'Bas Ek Pal', this soulful track about separation is the first foray for Mithoon in the world of original soundtrack after he got into limelight with the rearrangement of 'Wo Lamhe' and 'Aadat'.
Incidentally Atif is the singer who features in each of the three songs. Though for 'Wo Lamhe' [Zeher] and 'Aadat' [Gangster], Atif was called to sing the original Pakistani hits again under the baton of Mithoon, it is different in the case of 'Tere Bin', which is a pure original track composed by Mithoon.
With his very first single for a Bollywood film making such a mark in the very first fortnight of the release, the young composer has all the reasons to be elated. In fact them music company TIPS has been so impressed with the reception to the song that they have also created a music video with Atif starring in it.
Not many are aware that Mithoon is the song of veteran musician Naresh Sharma who has provided background score for dozens of films and also provided music for numerous flicks. When quizzed about the limelight his son was finding himself in, he said, "Mithoon has given his everything for this song which could also be called an essence of his entire life. Aisa lagta hai jaise zindagi ka saara nichor is ek gaane mein daal diya ho. Atif too is like a son to me and it is great to see him singing for Mithoon who has creating an immensely soulful tune for a meaningful song like this! I am extremely proud of Mithoon and wish him all the best!"
With such a delightful beginning like this, we expect much from you in the coming weeks Mithoon!
