A few years back debutant Manish Jha came with his directorial venture 'Matrubhoomi', a hard hitting film starring Tulip Joshi in the lead. Though the film wasn't a commercial success in India when released last year, it garnered immense critical appreciation across the globe in the festival circuits.
Now Jha returns with his second film 'Anwar' that again aims at making a statement. Starring the Koirala siblings Manisha and Siddharth [who made an inauspicious debut with 'Fun - Can Be Dangerous Sometimes']; 'Anwar' is ready for release and may hit the marquee by the end of the year. Shot prominently in Wai [Maharashtra], 'Anwar' has music by Mithoon who has recently done a couple of guest compositions for 'Bas Ek Pal'.
