Ask Yamini and she would have a tale to narrate! Because even she wouldn't have expected this to happen in her wildest of dreams when all that she was doing was being a part of a protest over a ban on the use of cell phones in Chandigarh colleges.

A beautiful girl with confident looks and unique features, Yamini Sharma's picture came in newspapers last week after she was defying riot police in Chandigarh during the protest. But little did she know that this single picture would create an overnight celebrity out of her. That's because soon director Satish Kauhik saw her picture, was impressed by her looks and hunted her down to offer her a role of a lead heroine in his upcoming film that required a fresh face.

Last heard, the talks are still in progress and if Yamini [who otherwise has plans for her MBA] shows willingness to be a part of the tinsel world, she would be soon going through the auditions to prove her mettle.
