Dino Morea had an unsavoury incident recently when the actor was forced into quarantine in yellow fever hospital in Andheri East for the next few days after returning from South America, an endemic zone for yellow fever. Morea was stopped by the immigration authorities on his return from Surinam, where he had gone on special request from fan groups.
Apparently Morea had not taken a yellow fever injection before leaving India and no one had informed him about the same before his departure from Mumbai. Dino was livid and called up media personnel as well as politicians to make a case for himself. But all went in vain. If a person has taken a yellow fever vaccination then it is valid for the next ten years. Incidentally, Dino had taken an injection nine years ago before going to South Africa. His family is looking out for those records. If they find them, it’s time for Dino to go home, else he has no other option other than spending three days in the hospital.
