Current millennium has brought to fore number of new technicians with a good body of work to boost. Sudeep Chatterjee is one of them.
Making his debut as a cinematographer with excitingly shot 'Road', he followed it up with a mushy romantic film 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na'. But the film that got him maximum recognition was 'Lucky - No Time For Love' that captured the exotic locales of Russia exceedingly well along with action sequences that had never looked slicker.
A completely different Sudeep was seen in 'Iqbal' where he, along with Nagesh Kukunoor, went truly authentic whereas 'Kaal Purush - Memories Of The Mist' is already been touted as an award winning effort. Meanwhile his work in 'Fight Club - Members Only' was suitable for an action film that was mainly for the popcorn munching young crowds.
Now in a couple of weeks time, he would be pairing up with Nagesh once again for 'Dor' that captures the terrain of Rajashtan and hills of Himachal Pradesh with élan. With such a variety of work behind him, Sudeep should be a cinematographer to reckon with soon.
