VJ turned standup comedian turned actor Ranveer Shourey [of Mixed Doubles fame] has a lot to look forward to this weekend. And why not since he had two of his films released this Friday!

He is being seen in both 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' and 'Shiva'. While in PKSE he is the same Ranveer we all know i.e. a lovable young guy who makes for a perfect friend of Rahul Bose, in 'Shiva' he is just the opposite as he plays a middle aged elder brother to the film's lead protagonist Mohit Ahlawat.

The reports for both the films are out and as expected he is busy collecting bouquets for his act in PKSE since he has been appreciated whole heartedly by one and all. In comparison it is just the opposite in case of 'Shiva'. His role in the film was so miniscule that his presence went unnoticed. Also, whatever little opportunity he got in the film, he didn't make much impact because of a hackneyed characterization of a man suppressed under the authority of his wife [Suchitra Pillai].

His third release in quick time is 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' where he is back in his elements. This UTV produced film releases next Friday i.e. September 22nd.
