There is an interesting factor that binds the three major films that have released this Friday - 'Bas Ek Pal', 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' and 'Shiva'. Incidentally each of the three films has someone associated with the cast/crew who has a Bengali connection!

'Bas Ek Pal', as we all know, is directed by Onir who is a Bengali. On the other hand Rahul Bose, the lead actor of 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' is a Bengali. This is not all as Nisha Kothari, the lead actress of Shiva, was born Priyanka Kothari in Kolkata [West Bengal], to a Marwari Jain family.
