Pooja Bhatt is a seasoned film personality who has been in the Film Industry for a long time now. She has acted in such successful films as ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’, ‘Sadak’ and ‘Border’. She turned a producer at the age of 24 with her first film ‘Tamanna’ that talked about female infanticide. It won her a National Award for a film on social issues. She went on to produce quality films like ‘Dushman’, ‘Sur’, ‘Zakhm’ and ‘Jism’. ‘Zakhm’ was her illustrious father Mahesh Bhatt’s swan song to the world of cinema and also won Ajay Devgan his first National Award as the best actor.
Her first directorial venture ‘Paap’ didn’t exactly set the Box Office on fire and her next one ‘Holiday’ couldn’t create a flutter either. Yet, Pooja remains upbeat as she is all set to roll her next directorial venture ‘Dhoka’. IndiaGlitz caught up with her in an exclusive video star talk. Do check it out on our Broadband section as she talks about films, showbiz, acting and the frivolousness in the so called big banner films.
