Sushmita Sen may have had a rocky ride lately as her much-hyped film ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ sank at the Box Office without a trace. But there’s still hope for her as she has been signed by Ram Gopal Verma to play Radha (Jaya Bachchan’s character) in his remake of ‘Sholay’.

It defies imagination how Sushmita will be able to do justice to a role that had been dignified by Jaya Bachchan with her austere calmness. Earlier Katrina had been signed for this part but since a lot of changes had happened over a period of time, Ramu decided to opt for Sushmita instead. Meanwhile, Ramu’s Gabbar is creating a lot of curiosity amongst the public as Amitabh Bachchan’s weary look is unforgettable even if you’ve had a mere glimpse of it. As for Sush, she continues to rock even if her films don’t.
