We have all heard about today's youth being extremely talented as compared to the previous generations. Singer Shibani Kashyap will agree with us completely on this. Shibani has sung a couple of songs for Amrit Sagar's forthcoming movie ‘1971’,  and working with his younger brother and music director of the movie Akash Sagar was an amazing experience not only because he is very talented but more so because of the fact that he is just a teenager.

“I had so much fun when we were making the songs of this movie. And Akash is so talented, in spite of being so young, he is a maestro already. It's amazing to see such young talents and creative minds. I'm totally impressed!!" the movie has Manoj Bajpai in the lead. She also has another movie Aditya Bhattacharya's  ‘Dubai Calling’ lined up  which is set to release in January and is supposedly a dark comedy with Irfan Khan in the lead.

Shibani has composed and sung two songs for this movie, one being an item number. This would be her first debut item song and she seems quite excited about it already. Shibani Kashyap was a bit singer on the Delhi scene for a long time who came into limelight with her two hits ‘Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa’ from ‘Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2’ and the exceptional ‘Zinda Hoon Main’ from the movie ‘Zinda’.

Not only does she do play back singing, she has composed and performed at numerous fashion shows for designers like Ritu Beri, Jatin Kochar and latest being the India Fashion Week. Besides this, she is all set to release her new album which includes a host of various other artists.
