While 'Zamaanat' would mark the beginning of the year for the elder Bachchan on January 5th, son Abhishek would be enjoying a much higher profile 'Guru' the very next Friday i.e. January 12th. 'Guru' especially is expected to embark on a successful route since the promos are looking quite interesting and the music has reached the top of the charts while displacing hot selling 'Dhoom 2'.

Also for those who believe in the 'theory of jinxes', there are finally cheers all around since Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have together delivered a massive hit in the form of 'Dhoom 2' after a disastrous outing in 'Umrao Jaan'.
