Kabir Khan’s ‘Kabul Express’ has earned a mixed response both from the audience  as well as the critics in India as well as in the overseas territory. But in a recent development, the film has been banned in Afghanistan due to the alleged derogatory mentioning of Hazara, one of Afghanistan’s ethnic communities.

Hazara forms 10% of Afghani population and are said to be the descendants of Genghis Khan’s invading army. Afghans involved in the film including the actor Humghum (he plays a crucial role in the film) who said the alleged offensive terms will also be questioned by a prosecutor.
