National Award actress and glamour queen of Bengal, Rituparna Sengupata has bagged two more of her prestigious project in Bollywood. Purely on talent she has signed a mega film opposite Punjab da puttar Sunny Deol in Ashwin Choudhery's ‘Gurudakshina’. Says Rituparna, “I have always been a fan of Sunny Deol since college I still remember the mass hysteria when Gadar was released. I m just looking forward to working with Sunny Deol & Ashwin Choudhery.”

When asked about her transition from Bengal cinema acting with director like Rituparno Ghosh, Aparna sen Buddhadeb Dasgupta & Sandip Roy and acting in out & out commercial film in bollywood says Rituparna, “I have not come to Bollywood to act in run of the mill films. In the last one year since I m here, I have signed 6 Hindi films which are different from each other. I’m confident of my acting skills and am sure will make my mark in Bollywood too. And since I have also done a lot of glamorous role in Bengali cinema it should not be problem.”

Rituparna has also signed a film with Kalpana Lazmi where she plays the role of a queen, whilst Isha Koppikar plays the role of a courtesan in a woman centric film.
