Why ‘Gudgudee’ is one of Sunidhi’s best?
IndiaGlitz [Saturday, January 27, 2007]

Jab bhi Zara Tumne Chua Zindagi halki si gudgudee kar gayee, Chalki hui thi pahle se main thodi aur hi bhar gayee….Gudgudee kar gayee…. It goes without saying that Gulzar sahib has written fabulous lines and Pritam has weaved them into a fantastic composition. But ‘Gudgudee’ from Maghna Gulzar’s ‘Just Married’ also happens to be one of Sunidhi Chauhan’s best numbers.

Today, Sunidhi is on the top amongst the female singers in Bollywood. No one can question her super talent. But like Asha Bhosle she has also been type cast in high pitched raunchy numbers. An example being ‘Beedi Jalayle’ from ‘Omkara’. She is so good at such high adrenaline numbers that one hears few songs from her in the lower scale. I feel, she sounds brilliant whenever she takes the lower path. Remember ‘Dil Mein Jaagi’ from ‘Sur’.

Now, check her out in ‘Gudgudee’, an absolute beauty of a song that makes you feel like listening to it again and again. And that says a lot considering you hardly feel like pressing the rewind button these days. The delectable sensuousness and pristine magnificence of romance in her voice takes her on a planet of excellence. You shall feel like listening to ‘Gudgudee’ again and again. Recommended time for listening: While driving alone or just before sleeping. Dim lights will surely light up the spirit of imagination.

Way to go Sunidhi….Keep up the good work.
