Director Satish Kaushik's assistant, Lovely Singh, makes his directorial debut with the forthcoming musical romantic comedy, Kya Love Story Hai, releasing worldwide on April 20.

Lovely might sound like an unusual name to have and a female one, and the young director is not oblivious to this! "I know many think Lovely is a girl. I'm also aware that it's a strange name but then it's been my nick name for long, and ever since I entered the industry, everyone's known me as Lovely. So I chose to stick by that in stead of opting for my original."

Just for the record, Lovely's real name is Rakesh, and Kya Love Story Hai features Tusshar Kapoor, Ayesha Takia & Kareena Kapoor.

It is Studio 18's second overseas release after their maiden hit, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.
