One can't really remember the last time something like this happened, but the fact is that a big production house of the stature of UTV would be having two of it's films releasing on back to back weekends.

While this week they came up with Milan Luthria's HAT TRICK, coming Friday would see the release of their THE NAMESAKE which is co-produced by them. Directed by Mira Nair of MONSOON WEDDING fame, THE NAMESAKE is based on Jhumpa Lahiri's novel by the same name and stars Kal Penn, Irrfan Khan and Tabu in lead roles.

With a tagline of 'Two Worlds. One Journey', this FOX SEARCHLIGHT presentation has won rave reviews overseas where it has already released and is expected to meet with a similar response once it hits the Indian screens on March 23rd.
