Sequels are made for films. But a sequel for a music album is unheard of. However, if first album has been a super hit then one can not really blame the music company for producing the sequel for first.

So T-Series is producing the sequel 'Phir Bewafayee' with the same technical team. Songs are sung by Agam Nigam while lyrics are by Praveen Bharadwaj. On this association Praveen Bharadwaj says, "At the time when music industry was going through recession and depression, this album had sold about 20 lakhs copies. It was a huge success and naturally we had started planning for the second album. It took few months to pen the lyrics for this album. All the songs are about romance and pain through it."

Praveen Bharadwaj has already turned Music director with his album 'Tanhayee' that was released from Venus. Now he is also turning a producer with his second album 'Barsaat - The Rain of Love', that is launching under his own banner Blue Sky Entertainment. 

Praveen Bharadwaj is a lyrist of repute and has done more then 100 films till now. He has penned lyrics for many hit songs like 'Zahareeli Ratein' from 'Chocolate',  'Dil diwana'... from Janasheen,  'Humne tumko dil ye de diya..' from 'Gunaah',  'Kuchh qasmein hai jawaan...' & the item song, 'Chhalka chhalka...' from Aankhen, 'Khoye khoye din' from Hum Tumhaare Hain Sanam, 'Thoda sa pyar hua hai...' from 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya'.  Praveen Bharadwaj has written lyrics for successful hit albums like Hasrat, Tera Mera Pyar and Bewafaai.

His first album as Music Director was 'TANHAAI….can listen the silence' under the music label of Venus. Praveen Bharadwaj has also launched his web site from where he plans to do worldwide release music of his own albums as direct marketing. He will also provide this platform for upcoming new singers to sell their songs directly to the listeners to avoid marketing complications and setbacks.
