After the split, Nikhil goes solo for 'Phir Bewafai'
IndiaGlitz [Monday, July 16, 2007]

Couple of years back Sonu Nigam's father arrived with an album called 'Bewafai'.

A beautiful album with melody as a key element in each of it's songs, 'Bewafai' went on to be a superhit album and got it's composers Nikhil Vinay into limelight. Unfortunately, the composer 'jodi' of 15 years decided to call a split last year.

In the interim, the sequel to 'Bewafai' was in the making and was aptly titled 'Phir Bewafai'. Yet again Agam Kumar is at the helm of the affairs with the difference being that Nikhil is the only man in charge of compositions with Vinay missing from the action.

Meanwhile first track, 'Tu Kisi Aur Se Milke Aa Rahi Hai', has started to bombard the small screen and if one has to go by initial indications, 'Phir Bewafai' is all set to be yet another best seller in the making. Nikhil and Agam Kumar have created magic yet another and made a song that brings to fore the sorrow of unfaithful love.
