Reacting to media reports about actor Shiney Ahuja's attempts to woo various girls including co-stars Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut and Ruchi Narain (director of his film 'Kal: Yesterday and Tommorrow'), the actor's publicist and spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar has been a little concerned.

"Shiney is a happily married man with a beautiful wife and such insinuations are nothing but a figment of an over-active imagination," he remarked. Does that mean the actor is not making desperate attempts to find 'suitable' company and try his luck with his female co-stars, as reported in a section of the media?

"Shiney has a huge female fan following. Whenever I travel with him in his car, I see quite a few attractive girls pointing at him, waving, smiling, and even getting off their vehicles on signals and knocking on his car windows for autographs. They click his pictures on their mobile phones and want to touch him. Once, a girl after getting her autograph, even wanted to hop in his car and take a lift. Shiney politely refused. Even at the studios, most of his co-stars are all praise for his super cool demeanor," comments Dale. "Why on earth would a sought after man like Shiney Ahuja be desperate for anyone?" he asks.

So what about the rumours that he approached Vidya Balan and she refused him. "Vidya is his co-star in Priyadarshan's 'Bhool Bhulaiya' and they share a fabulous working relationship; nothing more, nothing less. They laugh and joke a lot and I have heard from sources in the unit that Vidya is quite amused with Shiney's wisecracks". And what about the talk of Shiney pursuing Kangana Ranaut. "Now that would be laughing matter for me," quips Dale and literally breaks into a roaring laugh.

Shiney is currently shooting for Kunal Shivdasani's film 'Hijack' with Esha Deol in Mauritius, while his wife Anupam is busy shopping in New York.
