Fire broke out yesterday at 2am on the sets of Ravi Chopra’s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai .

The film which stars Govinda , Tabu and Lara Dutta has suffered a heavy loss of costumes and other equipments. BR films confirm that the losses have amounted to Rs 1.5 crore.

More than the monetary losses greater damage has been done in terms of the time lost out which amounts to a week of shooting. The actors were scheduled to shoot on Friday but now shooting resumes much later after the sets are re- erected. The exact cause of the fire hasn’t been determined and fortunately there are no causalities.
