Anthony Gonsalves faces objection from Bihar
IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, January 09, 2008]

Director E Niwas whose film My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves is on the verge of release seems a little wired up as the film faces objection from Bihar.

The objection is the result of a dispute between Mithun Chakrabothy and the Bihar and Jharkhand Film Distributors' Association (BJFDA) president-Sunil Kumar over the Bhojpuri film Coolie produced by the latter. Mithun and his son Mimoh's films have been banned from release in Bihar and Jharkhand.

E Niwas who is also the producer and distributor for the film is hassled with the decision as he shares a close bonding with the state of Bihar .

Shool directed by Niwas was set against the backdrop of Bihar and was well received by the audience in Bihar. One person who would be celebrating is none other than Raj Kumar Santoshi whose Halla Bol is now set to make all that Halla in Bihar.
