It comes as a shock to many as Screen Best Actress 07-Kareena Kapoor has been replaced by none other than Shantipriya of Om Shanti Om –Deepika Padukone for Imtiaz Ali’s next film. Kareena has featured in the top league of actors after the huge success of Jab We Met.

Apparently Kareena has also hiked her acting prices after the success of Jab We Met.

Is it Kareena’s asking price that has lead to her exit? Well, why does it matter when hubby Saif Ali Khan is producing the film? Reports suggest that director Imtiaz who is riding high these days has made it clear to Saif that his new movie wouldn’t have Kareena essaying the lead. Imtiaz has rejected Saif’s pleas too.

Well looks like Imtiaz has been floored by Deepika’s Om Shanti Om performance.
