Actor Chandrachur Singh is back in action with Maruti Mera Dost produced by his brother Abhimanyu Singh.

The film goes on floor in the second week of February. The film is based on children and therefore Sweeney Khare of Cheeni Kum fame has been signed. The film also marks the directorial debut of Raju Manikya.

Chandrachur became famous for his role in Joy Augustine’s Tere Mere Sapne and Gulzar’s Maachis.

Besides these he has also romanced Aishwarya Rai in Mansoor Khan’s Josh in 2000 and K Raghavendra Rao’s Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya in 2001. Hope we get to see more of Chandrachur Singh this year.
