Urmila Matondkar is highly excited to play Kamini played earlier by Simi Garewal in the original Karz.

It has been reported that Urmila’s character will look very much similar to the one enacted by Simi in the Subash Ghai version. The second half of the film will have Urmila sporting a grey streak on her hair.

Sources suggest that Satish Kaushik who is directing the film has already worked things out with Urmila who is keen on doing so. Urmila will carry grey streaks for only a short part in the second half of the film. It has been reported that Urmila’s character will be more glamorous than the original with Urmila grooving to a special dance number.

When contacted, the producers of the film would prefer keeping mum at the moment.
