What all do we have to consider while releasing a movie? Apart from banking on the talent of the cast and crew of the team, there are other elements that play a major part in making the film a success or failure, or so ‘they’ claim. Some films that a made really well fail miserably at the box office and sometimes average films make it huge.

One such team that stuck to numerology and has pre-poned the release of their project is Vipul Shah’s ‘Singh is Kinng’. Though it was reported to hit the theaters this Independence Day on August 15, the team has decided that they will release the film a week in advance, by August 8.

Reason?

The producer believes that the number ‘8’ has been quite favourable to him and Akshay and hence this conscious decision of preponing 'Singh Is Kinng'.

Directed by Anees Bazmee 'Singh Is Kinng' has Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead role and has been receiving good comments so far. With a couple more of movies slated for release in mid-August 'Singh Is Kinng' is likely to have competition from Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Drona’ which will release in the same month.
