Erstwhile assistant to illustrious filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi during the making of China Gate, Pukar, and Lajja, young and talented 30 year old Rajaatesh Nayar, has turned director with his debut film "SIRF - life looks greener on the other side", produced by Sevan Eagle Production.

Son of well-known executive producer K.K. Nayyar, Rajaatesh Nayar has directed various documentaries for Doordarshan and inspirational films for non-government organizations.

Rajaatesh Nayar is obviously excited about 'SIRF -life looks greener on the other side'. He comments, "This film, as the tagline suggests, is very much about how life looks greener on the other side. Sometimes, we are not content with what we have and yearn for sometime which other seem to have in their respective lives. We all are waiting for sirf one thing, This is what 'SIRF- ' is all about."

Rajaatesh is quite pleased with the performances of all artists. "They all have done a fantastic job. It was great, as a first-timer to work with such a highly competent star cast."
