Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has been a part of several off beat films and has always walked away with huge acclaim for his versatility. Many have heard of Naseer being part of a Pakistani film that has been doing the round at several film festivals. ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ , a film that depicts the general state of Muslims in theUS post the 9/11 attacks will soon be released in India on the 4^th of April courtesy Percept Picture Company.

The film directed by Shoaib Mansoor has been awarded the best film at the 31^st Cairo International Film Festival, best foreign film at Muscat Film Festival and has been honoured with the Roberto Rossellini award in Italy. Besides Naseeruddin Shah, the film also stars renowned Pakistani actors-Shan, Iman Ali and Fawad Khan.

At the music release function last evening, Naseeruddin Shah being the only member of the crew present; expressed immense joy as the film will be the 1^st Pakistani film to be released in India. Naseer also unveiled the music cd , which itself is quite impressive with an ensemble of Pakistani musicians like Rohail Hayat, Javed Bashir, Shuja Haider, Ahmad Jahanzeb ,Khawar Jawad and  Lagan Band.
