In his directorial debut venture 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' it was Salman who did a special appearence for him. In his second project 'Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham' he had Rani Mukherjee appear specially on screen.

In 'Kal Ho Na Ho' it was Sonali Bendre and Sanjay Kapoor as well as Kajol and Rani who appeared in the dance sequence.
