WWE star 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin who was seen in the film 'The Longest Yard' as one of the characters  is to show his muscle power as the lead actor in 'The Condemned' produced by the Sony pictures. In this edgy, hard hitting action film Stone Cold stars as Jack Conrad, a death-row prisoner in a corrupt Central American prison, who is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island to participate in an illegal reality game show. Conrad must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.  With no possible escape – and millions of viewers watching the uncensored violence online – Conrad must use all of his strength to remain the last man standing.

The movie is set to release Pan India in English and Hindi on May 15th, 2008 on DVDs and VCDs.  The DVDs and VCDs will be available at all the leading stores like Planet M, Music World, Landmark, Timeout etc in all the major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. The English DVDs will be priced at Rs. 499/- and VCDs at Rs. 299/- , where as the Hindi DVDs will be priced at Rs. 125/- and VCDs at Rs. 99/-.
