There is no stopping Rajat Kapoor
IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 13, 2008]

Whether he is acting or directing movies Rajat Kappor is a treat to watch with his effortless acting in films like 'Bheja Fry', 'Monsoon Wedding'etc and selection of contemporary subjects that acted as the spine of his directorial ventures such as 'Mithya'.

Rajat Kapoor is to play the role of a journalist in the film titled as 'Via Darjeeling'.

The film touted as a psychological thriller revolves around the story of the disappearance  of the character played by K.K.Menon while returning after spending time in Darjeeling where he had gone for honeymoon with his wife played by Sonali Kulkarni.

The police officer in charge of the case is unable to trace him.

The films' narrative style is inspired from the evergreen classic film 'Rashomon' made by the legendry Japanese film maker Akira Kurusova.

Two years later the dejected police officer tells the case to few of his friends who come up with their own versions on what would have gone wrong which eventually resulted in the disappearance of the main character.

Rajat Kappor although widely appreciated for his acting skills prefers to be known and remembered more as a film maker and is completely occupied right now with preparations to direct another movie which is going to be triangular love story.

He is also upbeat about the new developments that have come in the Industry with more and more multiplexes opening up and small budget films getting good results and raking in money like never before.
