Television's funny man ready for films
IndiaGlitz [Monday, June 30, 2008]

Life is all about taking chances, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That was the answer given by Ashiesh Roy, the famous television actor when asked on his foray into Bollywood with the new film 'Tom, Dick & Harry Rock Again'.

The actor known for his funny roles is in the peak of his career in Television when he has decided to step into the more glamourous world of films.
He is happy that he has got a prominent role in the film as it is an out and out comedy film and also because his role is a full fledged one.

The extent to which the character of Ashiesh will make us laugh can be guessed with the funny name that is truly out of the box.

His nick name in the film is "again" because the character says the word in every sentence that he utters.

The Television star says that he got surprised when the producers of the film approached him after seeing him perform in a play.

But the feeling that the producers had tremendous belief in his potential and that he will do complete justice to the character that he was offered made him feel good and proud.

Ashiesh has put in a lot of effort, a lot of subtleties in the character and is keeping his fingers crossed till the film gets released.
