Chunky Panday is doing a caricature of Ram Gopal Varma called Sham Gopal Varma in his forthcoming film 'Khalbali Re Khalbali'. But instead of calling it a caricature, the colourful actor prefers to term it "a tribute to the maverick maker".

In the movie, this character will also be fondly addressed as Shamu, again a take-off on Ramu.

"Chunky is mad enough to play such roles. Don't be surprised if you hear him aping Amitabh Bachchan or Shah Rukh Khan next and playing Don," says his publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

As for 'Khalbali Re Khalbali', the film is directed by Ajay Chandok and also stars Nikhil Dwivedi, Sada, Sanjay Mishra and Johnny Lever.
